FAQ

  • Yaaaassssss 100000000 % absolutely!!! Having grown up with a gay father this is something I feel very strongly about :)

  • Absolutely!! Photographers LOVE when clients seek advice with their timeline!

This enables me to get the very best out of my coverage of your wedding day, ensuring you get your money’s worth, and the day runs smoothly. There’s a few key times of day, and aspect of the timeline that are helpful to discuss prior to setting your times with your venue and caterers, and I’m super happy to help you with this. In fact I now send out a really good guide that helps out with sample timelines that work with each season, after couples have booked in.

  • My preferred method of payment is via direct deposit. I also accept credit card payments via PayPal with the small (2.6%) processing fee added.

  • During peak season (spring/autumn) I deliver your full collection of images anywhere between 6-8 weeks after the wedding.

  • There are no set rules, but I find anywhere from 50-100 images per hour is a good general guide.

  • Depending on where your wedding is, usually not. Within a few hours of the Blue Mountains/Sydney I don’t charge a fee. Because I have connections/family/friends in several states, I find travel fees to the areas in the Eastern states minimal, and occasionally not any extra at all. If I do need to book overnight accommodation I ask couples to cover the cost of something modest.

For interstate weddings airfares may be a consideration. I provide a custom quote for interstate and overseas destination weddings - depending on the details of the wedding. I’ll always try my hardest to keep any travel fees to an absolute minimum.

  • I almost always shoot alone, so am confident in assuring couples that I can capture everything needed and more. For large weddings of 120-150+, or affairs that might be long or have a lot going on, eg numerous locations - I may recommend a second photographer in order to make sure the day is adequately covered.

  • I have literally seen it all, from terrential horizontal downpours, freak wind storms mid ceremony, to 40 degree summer heat waves! And while things can get hectic, it always works out...you’ll find the joy and adrenalin of the day will carry you through anything. On a wedding day I’m pretty good at winging it and finding amazing ways to capture the madness, the crazy, the wonderful...just literally everything. It’s a great idea to keep an eye on the weather the week before to ease any shock and be prepared. Sometimes a little flexibility is needed on a rainy day, so we can get out during breaks, or with umbrellas.

For your engagement session...I am happy to re-schedule if needed, but most often we can adjust the time for the conditions.

  • I take $1500 to secure the date, with the balance due any time up to a month before the wedding. These payments can be scheduled for easy management.

  • If you think we’d make a good fit then drop me a line via my contact form, I’ll reply with my availability within 48 hours and send through a full pricing guide. And if you have any more questions don’t hesitate to ask!
